SECTION 1 - COMPLIANCE WITH FIREARMS LAWS
SpecWar Tactical operates in full compliance with all local, state, and Federal laws with respect to the sale of firearms. Please read the following information and familiarize yourself with the necessary steps to ensure your purchase is legal.
SECTION 1a - ILLEGAL PRODUCTS
The customer assumes full responsibility for understanding and following gun laws in the city, county, and state in which they reside and possess their items. If a customer orders a product that is deemed illegal in their city, county, or state, the order will be cancelled, and store credit will be issued.
In addition to specific local law, there are certain persons who cannot legally receive or possess a firearm. These include:
1. Has been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding 1 year;
2. Is a fugitive from justice;
3. Is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance;
4. Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to a mental institution;
5. Is an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States or an alien admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa;
6. Has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions;
7. Having been a citizen of the United States has renounced his or her citizenship;
8. Is subject to a court order that restrains the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such intimate partner; or
9. Has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
10. Cannot lawfully receive, possess, ship, or transport a firearm. [18 U.S.C. 922(g) and (n), 27 CFR 478.32].
SECTION 1b - SERIALIZED PARTS CHARGEBACK WARNING
The serialized part is the component that is legally considered to be the firearm in question. If a customer performs a credit card chargeback on an order including a serialized part, and remains in possession of the serialized part, this is legally considered theft of a firearm. THE STOLEN ITEM WILL BE REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES AND AN OFFICIAL REPORT WILL BE FILED WITH THE BUREAU OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, FIREARMS AND EXPLOSIVES (ATF).
SECTION 1c - SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS
SpecWar Tactical will only ship our products to authorized firearms dealers possessing a Federal Firearms License (FFL). We will not ship to individual homes under any circumstances. All licensed dealers purchasing from SpecWar Tactical will need to supply a copy of their current FFL.
IT IS A FEDERAL CRIME TO SHIP ANY FIREARM TO A NON-LICENSEE (FFL). Any non-licensee (FFL) is required to have any and all firearms (rifles, pistols, receivers, and other serialized parts) shipped to an FFL. It is the customer's responsibility to provide us with a Transfer Dealer’s FFL. A copy of the Transfer Dealer’s FFL can be sent to us by email at [email protected].
NO FIREARMS WILL BE SHIPPED UNTIL WE RECEIVE A COPY OF THE FFL TRANSFER DEALER (FOR NON-LICENSED DEALERS). Orders older than thirty (30) business days with no FFL provided will automatically be cancelled with a 25% restocking fee.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
SpecWar Tactical will not ship serialized lowers to the state of California. All other sales and shipments will meet Approved California Firearms.
SpecWar Tactical will not ship ANY items to the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.).
SpecWar Tactical will not ship ANY serialized items to the state of Massachusetts.
SpecWar Tactical will not ship ANY AR or AK Parts or Firearms (Including Receivers) to residents of Connecticut, Chicago, Illinois, Cook County, Illinois, or Deerfield, Illinois.
Illinois: All handguns having a barrel, slide, frame or receiver which is a die casting of zinc alloy or other non-homogeneous metal that melts or deforms at a temperature of less than 800 degrees Fahrenheit are prohibited.
Minnesota: All handguns having a barrel, slide, frame or receiver which is a die casting of zinc alloy or other non-homogeneous metal that melts or deforms at a temperature of less than 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, of any material having an ultimate tensile strength of less than 55,000 pounds per square inch, and of any powdered metal having a density of less than 7.5 grams per cubic centimeter are prohibited.
SpecWar Tactical will not ship ANY AR or AK Firearms (Including Receivers) to residents of Aurora, Highland Park, Deerfield, or Cook County, Illinois.
SpecWar Tactical will not ship any handguns to CA that are not on the DOJ roster. This includes Single Shot Exemption conversions.
NO firearms sales to Puerto Rico.
Stripped lower receivers will NOT be shipped to the following states:
• Colorado (Boulder, Denver, Vail)
• Connecticut
• Massachusetts
Complete AR and AK receivers will NOT be shipped to the following states:
• California
• Colorado (Boulder, Denver, Vail)
• Connecticut
• Maryland
• New Jersey
• New York
Non-Compliant AR & AK models will NOT be shipped to the following states:
• California (No “assault weapons” can be shipped.)
• Colorado (Boulder, Denver, Vail)
• Connecticut
• Maryland
• New Jersey
• New York

***Please note, this is a restricted item and the firearm must ship to a Federally licensed gun dealer. The firearm will ship with a copy of our FFL for your dealer records. After checkout, simply have your dealer email a copy of their FFL to [email protected]. Your order will not ship until we have a copy of the receiving dealer's FFL on file. The customer is responsible for knowing and understanding their own state laws in regards to restricted firearms, magazine capacities and features. We will not ship restricted items to those states

An adult signature is required upon receipt of the package.
